I read every single word
in the module. I was so fired up that I wanted to share it with
everyone in the office. I found your site because i have three
important reports I have to prepare by the end of March. I learned
quite a lot. I have spent more time preparing as opposed to my
usual style.....type whatever comes to mind. Thanks! At
last there is a clear simple guide to report writing specifically
written for people working in international development. It
will certainly improve the skills of field workers managers and
consultants. I recommend this to anyone who wants to take the
stress out of reporting and achieve better results. My
fear of writing has turned into fun. I
used to spend days working on reports that never said what I wanted
them to say. Now I use the Writing Process I manage my time better
and with the tools find it much easier to express myself. This
will go a very long way to improve my career as a lecturer. Mind
Mapping has revolutionised my writing and has helped me in my
planning skills too. I
gained useful techniques and guidelines. The deductive approach
to organising ideas has become my way of writing now - this has
changed my way of writing entirely. I
used to think Professional Writing was about having a big vocabulary
like the World Bank. Now I realise I am a professional writer
when my writing leads to action. |
